The Wiggle, Squiggle, Giggle & Learn! books provide active-learning programs for early childhood professionals and families. The games and activities focus on creativity and fun while simultaneously fostering the development of gross and fine motor skills, language, and cognition. The Wiggle, Squiggle, Giggle & Learn activity programs were developed by an occupational therapist and a physical therapist after working for many years in both public and private schools. Teachers and parents often asked them for ideas on how to encourage children to practice fine motor and gross motor skills in the classroom and at home. They created these books by applying their practical experiences in concurrence with their theoretical knowledge of early childhood development. These activity programs encourage children to wiggle, squiggle, and giggle while working on vital aspects of their physical and cognitive development.
